Welcome to the following “Act 48, Professional Development Enrichment” Courses!

These courses have been noted as some of the most worthwhile and meaningful online courses offered for Act 48 teacher certification. You will be able to implement these skills the next day in your classroom and in everyday life.

In order to be a successful teacher, it is important to understand the basic needs of each individual student, people skills are a necessary component for any walk of life. These courses will promote positive interaction among you and your students and enable you to provide an atmosphere conducive to encourage successful productivity within your classroom. 

For each course participants will read several success stories, for the 3 credit courses a book will be required. Several websites will be included with some of your readings. You will respond to the readings on the discussion panel and reply to two other participants from the panel. Upon completion of each course you will be able to implement many of the strategies and ideas discussed from the forums with other participants.
